Fishing
To the north on Highway 95, Smith Lake is usually fantastic. It’s small, which makes it great for shore fishing. Brush Lake comes next and is a great bass lake. Sinclair Lake and Robinson Lake follow soon after, and both are excellent spots for fishing.
Copper Creek is located right across the road from Sinclair. Copper Falls is beautiful there, and the fishing in the creek is very good. Continue along Moyie River Road and you’ll reach Meadow Creek, where another waterfall and several fishing holes await. This route leads to the next lake, Dawson Lake. Located on Meadow Creek Road, Dawson Lake is one of the few lakes in the area that has Tiger Muskie.
Water Galore
Nearby Lake Pend Oreille is the largest lake in Idaho and one of the deepest in the United States. It’s a popular destination for a variety of water activities, including boating, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. Dozens of other lakes are just a short jaunt away.
To the north, a brief drive will take you to Smith Lake, Sinclair Lake, and many other scenic waterways.
